Whewww! So much has happened since I last posted a blog! First and foremost HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Hope your 2022 is off to a great start! Ok now let’s get into this blog for real…

A couple of weeks ago God instructed me to remind His people about WHO they are. So of course me being an obedient servant (p.s. it was not always like that soooo I thank God for the evolve everyday!), I had no choice but to hop on the podcast mic and discuss it. So long story short the “Amplify What God Calls YOU” series was birthed! In this series, I encourage you to amplify what God calls you versus what the world calls you. You see, often times in our career journey we may encounter individuals that may say this or that (the negative this or that) about us and if we hear it so much we could begin to think this about ourselves. Specifically, you may begin to think you’re not good enough for the position or to work at the company, you’re not smart enough, you’re unworthy to receive the salary or the promotion, etc. LISTEN the list could go on but I hope you get the point!

Reflect On Your Core Values This Holiday Season…

Happy Holidays!!

I hope you are enjoying this Christmas Season 🙂 Make sure you do something or a few things that make you happy/put a gigantic smile on your face/heart!

As a movie lover, I love cuddling up on the couch with a nice Christmas blanket and watch a feel good Christmas movie! Each movie I have seen thus far amplifies the need to reflect on your core values or your personal priority list. During this time of the season your core value can definitely be challenged or put to the test. Why? because you may have a demanding job, boss/manager, etc. However, I encourage you to take time and reflect on what’s important to you in this season of your career, business, or life in general. Additionally, I love to take the time to reflect on how God has been to me, my family, my friends, and those attached to me. Hey Professionals and Career Seekers!

I hope you’re doing! So let’s jump into this blog 🙂 As you know God is always downloading a message in my spirit on a regular basis; therefore, I just had to to get this message out ASAP! God literally revealed to me that we as His children operate with unhealthy motives in certain seasons of our lives. For example you unhealthy motives are ones that are driven by anger, fear, sadness in one moment, unfulfilled need for acceptance, and/or power.

Hmmmm have your motives in your career journey or even in your business been unhealthy? I’ll admit mines have at one point BUT my motives are now healthy! The series will officially rollout again on Wednesday, November 3, 2021! Last year this series took off and sooo many people were encouraged and empowered by the discussions; therefore, I’m excited to release it again!

“Somebody Going To Get These Skills” (The Job Seeker Mindset)

“Somebody going to get these skills‼️‼️“

That was the mindset (aka the jobseeker mindset) of my client and exactly what my client said since she was literally hearing crickets when submitting her resume for new career opportunities.

Of course I LOL’d 🤣, agreed with her and proceeded to strategically offer her resume suggestions and customized edits during her “Resume Audit Session”.

After our session, she immediately updated her resume using the techniques recommended.

Then…I kid you not…literally a week later she emailed me saying “Just wanted to give you an update. I have 3 interviews scheduled for positions with the new resume that I updated and used your techniques.”

Of course I did a quick shout and screamed with excitement for her…. Mission accomplished!!!

My client literally went from no interviews to 3 interviews in just 1 week!!!🎉

🤩I absolutely LOVE seeing my clients win and get closer to reaching their career goals!

Career Transitions Are Worth It!

✨Year 2 is that you👀👀👀??? Happy Leap of Faith Anniversary to me🙌🏽🙌🏽💖…I’m a witness to how God truly honors your obedience..

So as I celebrate year 2 of fully transitioning into a different career field that truly ignites my soul, I encourage you to go after what your heart desires. No, it won’t be easy but it’ll be worth it!

My book, Soul Ignition, was birth from my career transition period so here’s a few words of encouragement to ignite your soul to move to your next level in life:

✅ “GIVE NOTICE” to yourself that you deserve the best and nothing less

✅”TRUST THE PROCESS” God is taking you through that will mold you into who He has called you to be.

✅ The “EVICTION OF FEAR” is essential for your elevation to a place or venture God has prepared for you

✅ Believe “RESILIENCE” is a part of your DNA (trust me you will need that ingredient of yourself during life’s journey)

✅ Remember “THE COST OF AN IDLE MIND” is too expensive especially if it leaves you with regrets…(p.s. just do it sis or bruh)

✅ Embrace the “TEARS AND CHEERS” throughout the shifts of life but just know the cheers will be louder than your tears

✅ Last but not least “LAUGH IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY” as you reach new heights in your career, business, and life in general.
